Walking and petit taxis are the primary ways to navigate Marrakech. The Medina, including Jemaa el-Fna and its souks, is best explored on foot, as it’s largely pedestrian-only. For longer distances or getting to areas outside the old city, readily available petit taxis are convenient; always confirm they use the meter or agree on a fare before starting your journey.
